[Reannouncement] Recruitment of Tenure-track Faculty Positions of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Pohang University of Science and Technology

The Department of Materials Science & Engineering strives to achieve the excellence in education and research to realize the founding tenet of developing itself as a world-class department in the field of materials through next-generation energy materials and advanced quantum materials research.

We invite a full-time faculty member who is willing to actively participate in these efforts and has excellent competence in education and research.

■ Eligibility

◽ Applicants must have a doctoral degree in a materials research related discipline with an outstanding research record.

◽ The successful candidate must be able to teach undergraduate level courses in the areas of materials science and engineering, and should have strong interests in developing new and innovative graduate courses.

◽ It is also important for the applicant to demonstrate motivations and abilities to develop research programs in collaboration with other faculty members and serve the academic/research community.

◽ Five representative research results(journal papers or other equivalent achievements)

※ Recommandation letter, research proposals and statement of teaching philosophy will be reguested seperately to whom it is necessary
